This class is great for beginners AND people who have been practicing yoga for a long time, and everyone in between. Traditional as well as modern methodologies will be used to guide you in an intentional practice of movement and breath. Your yoga practice is a time for you to turn your focus inward while also working on strengthening and stabilizing the breath and body. A full relaxation at the end of each class can help you to consciously rest and unwind before you move on to whatever life brings to you when you step off of your mat.
Restorative Yoga with Danielle
Thursdays at 6:30 PM
Restorative yoga is a passive form of yoga that allows you to focus on your breath while releasing tension in your body. Unlike other forms of yoga, restorative yoga requires you to hold asanas or poses for an extended length of time, using props (bolsters, blocks, blankets) to support your body. This is a 45 minute class that includes a guided relaxation.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Chelsey
Saturdays at 9:00 AM
Vinyasa yoga is a practice that emphasizes not only the physical postures (asana) and breath (pranayama) but how we transition from posture to posture using the breath as our guide.
This class is all levels, with plenty of modifications to create a more foundational experience as well as opportunities to expand your practice.
